- Position Summary:
Hillsboro Area Hospital is looking for a highly motivated individual to lead the HIM department as Manager. The HIM Manager is a full-time position 80 hours per pay period. Monday through Friday days. Must have a passion to exceed customer satisfaction and quality standards and enjoy leading a team. Ability to multi-task, strong organizational and computer skills.
Duties:
- Ability to code both Inpatient and Outpatient accounts required.
- Thorough knowledge of ICD 10 CM and current CPT/HCPCS coding guidelines.
- Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid reimbursement guidelines.
- Ability to use designated reference materials.
Education & Experience:
- 1 year previous HIM experience preferred.
- Supervisory experience preferred.
- CCS, RHIA, or RHIT preferred.
