This day-long event will focus on collaborative efforts between healthcare leaders and community leaders to strengthen economic development in our rural communities.

Workshop Objectives:

  • Describe what economic development (ED) is and why it is important for health care leadership to be aware of economic development initiatives.
  • Discover opportunities where healthcare leaders and community development leaders can work together to enhance economic development efforts in rural communities.
  • Share success stories where health care leadership have played an active role in local or regional economic initiatives.
  • Recognize the intersection between economic development and social drivers of health  for the local health care sector.

Cost:

Registration fee is $95.00 per individual and includes breakfast and lunch.
