Mountain Comprehensive Care Center collecting medical supplies to assist in care of those devastated by Kentucky flooding
Nikky King, a 2016 speaker at ICAHN's "Opioid Crisis Next Door" conference and Chief of Staff for NRHA member Zinnia Health , has put out a fervent plea for our member hospitals to assist those families suffering as a result of Monday's devastating flood in eastern Kentucky (the area in which she grew up). The list of donations needed is shown below, and all medical supplies and other donations should be sent to Mountain Comprehensive Care Center, 226 Medical Plaza Lane, Whitesburg, KY 41858.

- Tetanus shots
- Hepatitis A shots
- IV tubing
- Oxygen concentrators
- Oxygen tanks
- Nebulizer machines
- Nebulizer tubing
- CPAP machines
- Insulin and supplies
- Glucometers and strips
- Constant glucometeres and readers like Libre and Dexcom
- Dental equipment
- Portable dental clinic trucks
- Portable x-ray machines and trucks
- Portable lab trucks
- Food trucks for patients and staff as most of the food supply and restaurants have been flooded and are closed
- Gallons of bottled water
- Emergency tankers
- Exam tables and equipment
- Desktop and laptop computers for medical charting
- Suture equipment
- Sterile dressing and wound treatment supplies
- Disinfectant like Hibiclens and betadine
- Blood pressure cuffs and digital scales
