Wabash General Hospital Earns Spot on ‘Best Places to Work in Healthcare 2026’ List

ICAHN member hospital Wabash General Hospital in Mount Carmel, Ill. has been named to the Modern Healthcare “Best Places to Work in Healthcare 2026” list.

“This recognition speaks volumes about the commitment Wabash General Hospital has made to its employees and its patients,” said Tracy Warner, executive director, ICAHN. “Strong workplace cultures are critical to the success of rural healthcare, and Wabash continues to set an excellent example for hospitals across Illinois.”

The program honors employers that empower workers to provide patients, members and customers with the best possible care, products and services. A ranked order of the facilities will be presented at a special gala Sept. 16 in Houston, Texas.
