The Power of Rural: Celebrate National Rural Health

Celebrate the 'power of rural' on National Rural Health Day, November 15, 2018! There will be three live, 30-minute webinars happening on this date. The first, "Policy and the Power of Rural" will be from 10:00 to 10:30 a.m. CST. This conversation will focus on the current and future work of rural health policy, how rural citizens can communicate with policymakers and their communities to make an impact on rural health, and the impact of a changing Congress. The second webinar, "Rural Networks: Making a Difference in the Opioid Epidemic," will be held from 2:00 to 2:30 p.m. CST. During this webinar, participants will discover how small, rural networks are collaborating and innovating with their communities to address the opioid crisis in rural New York. The third webinar, "A Conversation on Rural EMS," will be held from 3:00 to 3:30 p.m. CST. Participants will learn about the current state of rural EMS and how leaders are educating and bringing innovation to their states.
