Sara Wojcicki Jimenez to Serve as Director of Marketing and Communications for the HSHS Central Illinois Division Hospitals

SPRINGFIELD – Sara Wojcicki Jimenez has accepted an invitation to serve as director of marketing and communications for the HSHS Central Illinois Division (CID) hospitals which includes HSHS St. John’s Hospital in Springfield, HSHS St. Mary’s Hospital in Decatur, HSHS St. Francis Hospital in Litchfield and HSHS Good Shepherd Hospital in Shelbyville.

Jimenez will join the CID team on a part-time basis beginning Sept. 11, 2018. After completing her term as Illinois State Representative for the 99th District in January 2019, she will become a full-time colleague.

Kuiper, MHA, DPT, FACHE, president and CEO of the HSHS Central Illinois Division. “Her passion and dedication to central Illinois will certainly help us move HSHS forward in the communities we serve.”

A graduate of Southern Illinois University Edwardsville and the University of Illinois Springfield, Jimenez previously worked as a reporter for WICS in Springfield and KHQA in Quincy. She also has served as deputy director of communications for the Illinois State Treasurer’s office, press secretary for the Illinois House Republican caucus, director of intergovernmental affairs and program communications for the Illinois state comptroller’s office and chief of staff to Illinois First Lady Diana Rauner. She’s also served on the Springfield Park District Board.

Jimenez has lived in the Springfield area since she was 5. She attended Cathedral School and is a graduate of Ursuline Academy. She and her husband, Jose, live in Springfield with their 5-year-old twin sons, Charlie and Augie, who were born at St. John’s.
