ERIN FRANK NAMED ICAHN 2024 ‘4 UNDER 40’ WINNER FOR SERVANT LEADERSHIP AT HORIZON HEALTH
PARIS, IL—The Illinois Critical Access Hospital Network (ICAHN) announced its 2024 “4 Under 40” Hospital Leadership winners, including Erin Frank, Director of Marketing and Communications at Horizon Health, during the organization’s Annual Conference held November 14 at the I-Hotel and Conference Center, Champaign.
She is joined in this honor by Kristy Winstead, APRN-FN at Memorial Hospital – Carthage; Wyatt Brieser, VP of Operations at Hammond-Henry Hospital; and Jessica Delost, Chief Compliance and Legal Officer at Gibson Area Hospital.
Frank has been with Horizon Health for 17 years, and is a dedicated, enthusiastic, and motivated leader. She serves her team, other leaders, and the organization first and is a role model for all leaders in the organization.
According to Martin Adams, VP of Finance and CFO of Horizon Health, after the organization’s recent Community Health Needs Assessment, Erin noted that one of the top 5 needs was to ‘Improve cooperation and coordination among providers, agencies, community groups and interested persons in order to promote community wellness.’
"Erin invited local school districts, community and health organizations, law enforcement, neighborhood watch, EMS, and many others to participate in a group. Since its implementation in August 2022, Erin has led the group to improve behavioral health access and education, homelessness within the community, a crisis hotline, and much discussion within the group on other topics that need addressed.
This group continues to meet quarterly to help eliminate social disparities in our community. Without Erin putting the right groups and people in the room, none of this would have been accomplished in this manner,” Adams said.
ICAHN’s “4 Under 40” Hospital Leadership Award is open to new and emerging leaders aged 40 and under employed by an ICAHN member hospital or as a member of this hospital’s board for at least two years with a strong record of innovation and outstanding performance.
Located in Princeton, IL, ICAHN is a network of 60 small, rural hospitals dedicated to strengthening the operations of its member hospitals through collaboration. The organization is composed of Illinois hospitals who have earned critical access hospital designation by the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services and is recognized nationally for its work with rural healthcare, administering several state, federal, and private healthcare programs.
