Position Description: Director of Nursing (D.O.N.)

Status: Full-Time/Benefit eligible

Position Requirements: The Director of Nursing performs the primary functions of professional nurse leader in assessing, planning, directing and evaluating patient care. The Director of Nursing is a member of the Administrative Council.

Education: Preferred bachelor’s degree in nursing

Experience: Five years preferred in a management or supervisory role.

Certifications: Current Illinois RN license, ACLS and PALS certification required.
