The Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) is an active member of the executive leadership team reporting to the CEO. This role is tasked with both leading and partnering with senior leaders and expected to be an organization-wide thinker who works collaboratively with other department leaders in driving the organizations people strategy, operations and resource planning for optimizing organizational effectiveness and performance.
In addition, this position is responsible for the development and implementation of HR strategic planning, tactical and operational HR initiatives, and tools that enable our organization to attract, recruit, retain, develop, and enable the exceptional talent necessary to achieve our vision, mission, and goals.
We’ve embarked on a cultural transformation of the organization to build a team that is customer focused and truly committed to providing an excellent patient experience. As such, the main focus of this role is to build upon the momentum of activity established in HR to continue to create and lead a strategic human resources function in the context of our mission, vision and values. The CHRO will lead this critical function in an effort to fuel the strategy and growth of the organization through its people, including culture, performance and engagement.

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required; professional certification in human resources preferred.
10+ years of experience as a member of an executive leadership team; proven experience advising and coaching senior leaders and experience in managing relationships with boards and/or executive committees.
Proven experience in the delivery of comprehensive HR services, tools, policies and procedures in alignment with the strategies and mission of the organization for Total Rewards compensation and benefits programs including executive compensation, recruiting, employee relations, staff development, education and training, talent management, EEO and affirmative action and employee communications. providing a sense of shared direction and purpose for all team members.
