• Overview of CMS Rulemaking and strategic priorities related to quality measurement to provide environmental context.
• Describe the rationale for why an individual Critical Access Hospital (CAH) may (or may not) have an Overall Hospital Star Rating available on Care Compare.
• Understand recent and proposed changes to CMS quality measure reporting requirements, including:
  • Identify if next steps are needed to ensure your CAH is prepared to meet increasing eCQM (electronic Clinical Quality Measurement) reporting requirements.
  • Prepare for potential changes to current quality measures and be aware of anticipated new measures relevant for CAHs.
