State of Illinois Required Continuing Education
Requirements for Health Care Providers Licensed in Illinois
To help meet the needs of licensed healthcare workers, ICAHN is offering the following courses to meet the state requirements. Licensees can use their issued certificate for license renewal.
Cost per training course:
- No charge for VIP subscribers
- $750.00 per facility per training course with unlimited participation and certificate issuance for 12 months or $25.00 per individual per course.
Sexual Harassment Training
Every licensed professional in Illinois must complete one hour of continuing education in Sexual Harassment Prevention.

Implicit (Unconscious) Bias Awareness Training
All healthcare professionals with an Illinois license must complete one hour of continuing education in recognizing implicit bias in healthcare.

Alzheimer's and Dementia Awareness Training
Every licensed healthcare professional with direct interaction with adults ages 26 or older must complete one hour of continuing education in the diagnosis, treatment and care of individuals with Alzheimer’s or other dementias.
