Raising HCAHPS Scores Through Meaningful Communication

Communication is the measure that most directly correlates to a hospital’s overall rating. Learn how you can improve satisfaction with meaningful communication.

Topics include:
  • Identify the domains on HCAHPS that assess patient satisfaction with care, and initiatives hospitals can use to raise the scores in these areas.
  • Describe strategic ways to improve communication skills of front-line staff.
  • Employ initiatives to have an engaged and committed workforce to assist in improving scores.
