The next PR-Marketing-Development Peer Network Group session, "Successful Strategies for Employee Giving" will be held via webinar from 10 a.m. to noon on Wednesday, July 13. Sherri Birkeland, Senior Vice President, Hillary Lyons Associates, will offer insight into these questions:

  • Would you like ideas on how to engage employees to support your mission?
  • Would you like to know ways to increase employee giving participation in general?
  • Would you like tips for conducting a successful employee fundraising drive?

Sherri will offer insight and help you find solutions customized to your small, rural hospital - including proven approaches to increase charitable support, social capital, and marketing strength. Sherri has worked in the healthcare field for over 30 years. Prior to joining Hillary Lyons Associates, she served as Vice President of Development and Planning for North Country Health Services in Minnesota. Her responsibilities included marketing, public relations, strategic planning, administration of the NCHS Foundation, and supervision of the volunteer program. During her tenure, the NCHS Foundation completed its target fund-raising project, raising over $5 million.
