
Pediatric Simulation and Seminar
This no-cost, in-person educational event will involve a high-fidelity simulation with a mannequin, hands-on skills stations, and walk learners through a variety of case scenarios.

Topics:
- Identify priorities when managing a child with sepsis.
- Demonstrate how to critically think through steps in care of a child with sepsis.
- Identify signs and symptoms of pediatric seizures/spasms, RSV, asthma, or DKA and identify ways to stabilize child for transport to a higher level of care through case studies.
- Develop hands-on skills including: fluid resuscitation: push/pull method, pediatric urinary catheterization, IV starts, airway management, and pediatric IV medication administration.

Successful completion: Participants must participate in the entire program and complete the evaluation to receive a certificate.
