This webinar will give you an advanced understanding of EKG interpretation, including 12 lead EKG and first through third degree heart block.


  • Review cardiac anatomy and physiology: Cardiac A and P, conduction system of heart, and relationship to EKG.
  • Identify steps in EKG interpretation including 12 lead EKG.
  • Distinguish the various types of heart block, including first, second and third degree.
  • Distinguish right and left bundle branch.
  • Identify the 3- I’s of myocardial infarction.

Debra Walton, RN, PhD, CNE, is a professor of nursing at Blessing Rieman College of Nursing and Health Sciences where she teaches advanced medical surgical nursing, critical care, and nutrition in the BSN program and advanced pathophysiology in the MSN program. Debra’s areas of interest include medical surgical, emergency department, and intensive care unit.
