Compliance Peer Network Group Meeting: Cameras & Videos in Patient Areas and the Workplace
The next Compliance Peer Network Group Meeting on "Cameras & Videos in Patient Areas and the Workplace" will be held on Friday, September 30 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at O'Shea Builders Training Facility, 3401 Constitution Drive, Springfield, IL, and also in webinar format for those that can't attend in person.
Katie Anderson, Attorney, Heyl Royster, will offer insight into the implications of having cameras and videos in patient areas and within the workplace in general. Lunch will be provided at 11:45 a.m., and networking will follow at 12:30 p.m. The meeting is expected to adjourn around 2 p.m.
In-person attendance is encouraged, and registration is required. Those unable to attend in-person are also asked to register, indicating your preference to participate online.

Prior to joining Heyl Royster, Katie Anderson practiced at a firm in Decatur, IL, where she became a partner in 2012. Her practice included medical malpractice defense of healthcare entities and health professionals, creditor bankruptcy work, and civil litigation defense. In 2016, she became general counsel for a community hospital in central Illinois where she managed litigation, risk, compliance, regulatory, insurance, and medical staff matters.
