Jonathan Pantenburg

Jonathan Pantenburg, MHA, Principal, Wintergreen

Jonathan Pantenburg is a nationally recognized healthcare management consultant who advises non-profit, profit, and governmental entities through complex issues including financial analysis, provider alignment and designations, cost reduction, mergers and acquisitions, provider contracting, and operational improvement. Jonathan co-founded Wintergreen and serves as a Principal at Wintergreen, a Maine-based consulting firm focused on rural and community healthcare providers.

Jonathan received his undergraduate degrees from University of Hawaii at Manoa and the University of Phoenix. He received a Master of Health Administration from Ohio University. Jonathan’s direct experience as a Chief Financial and Chief Operating Officer of a Critical Access Hospital and advising entities ranging from independent clinics and hospitals to multi-state systems on finances and operations positions him to make meaningful and actionable improvement within organizations.

Rob Bloom

Rob Bloom, CPA, MBA, Principal, Wintergreen

Prior to joining Wintergreen as a Principal, Rob served as CFO for Carthage Area Hospital for well over a decade. He had previously held positions with the Hospital as Administrator of Primary Care Services and Interim Chief Financial Officer. In addition to his role as CFO at Carthage, Rob also served concurrently (2021-2022) as Chief Financial Officer at Claxton Hepburn Medical Center and Orleans Community Hospital in addition to providing consultative services to several other hospitals in rural New York. Rob brings to Wintergreen over 15 years of leadership and financial experience with expertise in turnaround management, staff development, cash management, effective budgeting and auditing and strategic planning.

Rob holds an MBA and BS in Accounting from the State University of New York at Oswego and is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in the State of New York. Additionally, Rob is a graduate of The Academy for Healthcare Leadership Advancement at Cornell University’s Johnson School of Business. He resides with his family in Black River, New York.
