Registration is now open for the 2020 ICAHN Expo, which is expected to be held on Thursday, August 27 from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Crowne Plaza and Convention Center, Springfield. Senior hospital administrators, department managers, executives, nursing staff, and other leadership are invited to participate as well as interested exhibitors.

A dynamic line-up of industry leaders and team-building professionals will share their expertise and experience. Speakers will share moving patient experiences, propose strategies to encourage innovation, provide roadmaps to improving community services, and offer insight into the intersection of national health issues and public policy.

Among the speakers are Pat Schou, ICAHN Executive Director and NRHA President; Becky Wood, Management and Leadership Instructor, Bradley University; Brian "Fox" Ellis, professional storyteller and educator; and Rob Thompson, the "Funny Magic Guy."

State and federal updates will be given, in addition to leadership lessons, a session on driving productivity and workflow, break-out sessions, and entertainment.

Exhibit space for up to 65 booths is available. Organizations who market products and services to critical access and other small, rural hospitals are invited to participate in this event as exhibitors. The 2020 Expo will have a primary focus on hospital departments that include business office, laboratory, imaging, respiratory, rehabilitation services, materials management, plant operations, and nursing. The Expo combines quality educational programming with an opportunity for hospital staff to interact with vendors to learn about the latest products and services that will help improve their operations. Deadline to register for a booth is August 6. Program advertising and sponsorship opportunities are also available.
