Alzheimer's Awareness Training for Healthcare Professionals
Overview: This course meets the State of Illinois education requirement on the diagnosis, treatment, and care of persons with Alzheimer's disease
Course Objectives:
- Describe how to identify and diagnose Alzheimer's disease.
- Identify appropriate strategies to treat patient's with Alzheimer's disease.
- Describe effective communication strategies to use when caring for a person with Alzheimer's disease.
- Identify care and management strategies for someone with Alzheimer's disease.
Fee:
VIP Subscribers: No charge
$750.00 per facility for non- VIP subscribers or $25.00 per person.
Nurse Contact Hours:
1.0 Nurse contact hour. Licensees can use their issued certificate for license renewal.
