This course meets the State of Illinois education requirement on the diagnosis, treatment, and care of persons with Alzheimer's disease

Course Objectives

• Describe how to identify and diagnose Alzheimer's disease.
• Identify appropriate strategies to treat patient's with Alzheimer's disease.
• Describe effective communication strategies to use when caring for a person with Alzheimer's disease.
• Identify care and management strategies for someone with Alzheimer's disease.

Fee

VIP Subscribers: No charge

$750.00 per facility for non- VIP subscribers or $25.00 per person.

Certificate Awarded for Successful Completion of the Course

1.0 Nurse contact hour. 

Illinois Critical Access Hospital Network (ICAHN) is an approved provider of nursing continuing professional development by the Midwest Multistate Division, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.

Registration

If you are registering as a facility, only register yourself and then share the confirmation email with the course link to others in your facility.  When accessing the course, each person enters their email and password. Each individual will have to register to enter the course and create or use an already saved password. If you are registering as a facility share your confirmation email with others in your organization and they can use the link to enter the training.
