HCPro's Medicare Boot Camp- Critical Access Hospital and Rural Health Clinic Version


The Critical Access Hospital and Rural Health Clinic Boot Camp is a custom designed class focusing on Medicare coverage, billing, coding, and payment. 

Following this boot camp, participants will have the knowledge and confidence to:

  • Find the answers to your specific Medicare questions relating to CAHs
  • Understand outpatient observation and inpatient status rules and UR requirements
  • Submit accurate claims to Medicare, including Part A to B rebilling
  • Ensure appropriate reimbursement 
  • Avoid compliance pitfalls 
  • Identify risks for recovery audits and other government audits

Meet the Presenter



Judith L. Kares, JD, is an expert in Medicare rules and regulations. After a number of years in private law practice where she represented hospitals and other healthcare clients, she then served as in-house legal counsel prior to beginning her current legal/consulting practice. She is also an adjunct faculty member at the University of Phoenix, where she teaches courses in business and health care law and ethics.
