The "Opioid Crisis Next Door: Prevention, Care and Treatment Programs for Substance Use Disorders" conference will be held on Wednesday, March 29 from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Crowne Plaza, 3000 S. Dirksen Parkway, Springfield, IL. This workshop is the third in a series and will provide education on the initial care and treatment of persons with substance use disorders, options for recovery and managementment of patients with chronic pain, and to encourage dialog among providers on best practices and challenges of treatiing individuals in local communities.
