The Magnolia Center at Crawford Memorial Hospital has also earned a 5 star rating in the nursing home rankings by CMS. It is the only five star nursing home in the county.
“We are privileged to take care of our residents,” noted Magnolia Center Administrator Sandra Burtron. “Our staff takes great pride in making sure our residents receive high-quality medical care in a setting that is as home-like as possible. I am extremely proud of our team.”
The star ratings were designed to help the public easily compare nursing homes. Those comprehensive ratings are based on staffing levels, quality of resident care and health inspections and encompass a number of different metrics.
“We evaluate our quality data and resident surveys on a regular basis,” noted Andrea Plew, Magnolia Center Director of Nursing. “That allows us to quickly identify and address any potential issues or areas of concern. We use a team approach to create and implement solutions. At the end of our day, our goal is to make sure our residents receive the very best quality of care from a warm, compassionate staff and this 5 star achievement is the sign of a job well done from everyone at our Center.”
“The staff take great pride in making sure their residents are part of their family,” said Doug Florkowski, Crawford Memorial Hospital CEO. “That dedication and empathy are what makes the Magnolia Center stand out.”
