Tracy Bauer, Chief Operating Officer for Midwest Medical Center, was elected as President to the Board of Directors of the Illinois Critical Access Hospital Network at its annual member meeting on November 14th at the I Hotel and Conference Center in Champaign. Ms. Bauer will support the organization and its mission to strengthen and provide assistance and resources to its 55 member hospitals.
"I am excited to work with Tracy as the new ICAHN President,” said Pat Schou, ICAHN Executive Director. “I look forward to her work and her vision in the year to come. She represents what’s best in rural hospital leadership and brings a new vision for the organization in the future."
Ms. Bauer has served as President and CEO of Midwest Medical Center since 2011 when she was promoted from the COO/CFO position. She had served as the CFO since 2000 and is a lifelong resident of Galena. She obtained her degree of Master of Health Administration from Ohio University. She has also served the ICAHN Board of Directors as its Secretary/Treasurer.
