PIO training available through FEMA's Emergency Management Institute

As a Public Information Officer for a critical access hospital, it's imperative you have a crisis communications plan in place. For more information, contact Tom Tidwell, Central FEMA Region, at the Emergency Management Institute (866.213.9546). There is no cost to your hospital for airfare, lodging, the meals, or the training itself. Those signing up must select STATEWIDE/TERRITORIAL and not the private sector
