DU QUOIN — Marshall Browning Hospital’s urgent care has been a success within its first few weeks of service, according to CEO Dan Eaves.
The hospital opened its urgent care facility February 2. Since then, physicians and staff members placed at the facility have expressed how busy they have been from opening day.
“We received great comments on patient surveys,” Pam Logan, director of marketing and development at Marshall Brown Hospital, said. “Patients even mention how quickly they get in and get out.”
With about a 30-minute wait, and charges averaging $170, the urgent care facility is fixed on serving families with children suffering from an illness or a minor injury, Eaves said.
