Hopedale Medical Complex held its grand opening and ribboncutting celebration for the $8 million renovation to the Hopedale hospital on Saturday, May 9th. More than 400 people were in attendance at this event.
On November 15, 2014, CORE Construction substantially completed the Phase I addition of the renovation. On January 29, 2015, Hopedale Medical Complex moved its new furnishings into the renovated space.
Patients at Hopedale Medical Complex are now using the new modern Emergency Department, Ambulatory Surgery suites, and new large hospital rooms. The hospital boats modern rooms, state-of-the-art equipment, as well as a brand new helipad.
The theme for the event was celebrating the past, present, and future of the rural critical access hospital celebrating 60 years of healthcare service in central Illinois. Tours of the facility were given and the ribbon-cutting ceremony took place in front of the new ER entrance.
